About the Drive

The Oconto County School Supply Drive was started in January of 2020.  The program is a 501c(3) Non-Profit organization that serves Oconto County students and families that need the financial assistance in purchasing school supplies.  Students must be enrolled in an Oconto County School to qualify.  Once registered, students will receive a backpack filled with the school supplies they need for a successful school year.  Supplies are distributed based on availability and the order in which registrations are received.

No-Show Policy for School Supply pick up

 1. Notification of Pickup Date: Once the school supplies are ready for pickup, the beneficiaries will be notified by text or any other preferred means of communication about the date, time, and location for their pickup.

 2. Confirmation of Pickup: Beneficiaries are required to confirm their availability for the said date. In case they cannot make it, they are expected to communicate this to the organization within 48 hours of receiving the pickup notification.

 3. Failure to Show Up: If beneficiaries fail to show up on the agreed date and time without any prior communication their school supplies will be immediately reallocated to the next person on the waiting list.

 4. Rescheduling: If beneficiaries anticipate they cannot make it on the agreed date, they must inform the organization at least 48 hours in advance. An alternative pickup date may be arranged, depending on the situation and supply availability.

This policy ensures fair distribution of school supplies to all beneficiaries and encourages commitment and respect for the pickup schedule. It aims to serve as many individuals as possible within the resource limitations of the organization.  Supply distribution is based on order of registration and availability.  Thank you
